Case Notes
This 42 year old woman was large chested but perky before having children, and her chest became larger after pregnancy. She also had complaints of shoulder strap grooving and back and neck pain due to large breast size. A breast reduction procedure was performed, removing approximately 200 grams of tissue from each side. The post-operative images taken four months later show a noticeable reduction in breast size and improved positioning. The before-and-after photos indicate a decrease in shoulder strap indentations. These changes are consistent with the goals of alleviating physical discomfort associated with larger breasts. The surgical technique aimed to address the patient’s concerns while maintaining proportional aesthetics as observed in the outcome. She feels she can be more active, having lost 10 pounds since surgery.
